Take the Family Take the family on an activity packed week in the Sierra Aitana, a mountain region near Alicante. Parents and children can go mountain-biking, sea kyaking, abseiling and caving. Relax Formentera is a laid-back island only a half hour boat ride from Ibiza. It has sugar-white sand beaches lapped by clear turquoise waters and a few flat roads where you can ride a rental bike to explore a salt lagoon, a nature reserve and a hippy market. The susets are not to be missed. Learn to Skydive You can skydive after only two days’ training. Jumping out of a moving aircraft is a thrilling heart-in-the-mouth experience. Jumping 12000ft and free-falling solo for 90 seconds over the foothills of the Pyrenees , a glorous mountain scenery. The two days of skydiving - ground training, tandem jump then solo jump. There are also three days of ground-based activities including mountain biking, canoning and white water rafting. Go Diving Scuba-divers can dive just off the coast at L’Estartit, on the Costa Brava. The Illes Meded is a string of islands that are home to about 1400 species of marine and plant life. It has been a conservation area since 1985 and is an are ideal for first time divers.
