Asia'h Epperson

Asia’h Epperson is one of the premier singers this year in American Idol Season 7. Her strength and maturity was shown prior to the season ever really starting in a way that should be an inspiration to us all.

Two days before her audition, Asia'h called to tell her father know how much she loved him and how she wished he was with her. Tragedy struck after that phone call. Just thirty minutes later, her brother called to tell Asia'h that their father had just died in a car accident.

In amazing fashion, Asia'h chose to go ahead with her audition.

Her audition was simply stunning. When Simon asked her what she was going to sing, Asia'h explained that she had prepared something, however due to the death of her father, she had chosen to sing LeAnn Rimes‘ song, “How Do I Live.”

Her voice, sometimes cracking with raw emotion, Asia'h made it through and it was amazing. Although the audition might not have been "perfect" vocally, considering what had just occurred to her in the hour prior, it was perfect.

You can tell Asia'h has a great voice. Her spirit and her determination are the true inspiration that had people watching with passion Asia'h Epperson.
